GTA’s most famous beer is about to become real. Pißwasser, Patriot and a lager called No Mames Vice City have appeared in the official US label registry: all three carry the GTA 6 VI logo, and a Miami brewery makes them. Rockstar has not said anything yet.

The Pißwasser label approved by the TTB: a yellow and red can with the crest, the word Pils and the VI logo on the side

Pißwasser for real: a crowned crest, “Ü-Rhine” under “Pils” and the VI logo on the side, next to the brewery’s own. Label from the public TTB registry.

Why these beers

Pißwasser and Patriot are not new names. They are two beer brands already seen in earlier games in the series, and GTA 6 already shows them: Pißwasser on the liquor store signs in the Extended Look, Patriot on the hunters’ bottles in the Grassrivers. We collected them in our guide to GTA 6 brands.

The third one is different: No Mames is a real beer from the brewery, and the “Vice City” version has a chihuahua with pink sunglasses and a gold chain reading Vice City.

The Patriot label approved by the TTB: a white, red and blue can with the American flag, the words Patriot Beer and the VI logo on the side

Patriot plays on American patriotism just like in the game: flag, stars and “Never Refuse a Patriot”. Label from the public TTB registry.

The dates: why outlets disagree

Some say Pißwasser was approved on September 29, others on October 15. Both are right: the registry holds several approvals for the same beer, one for each version of the label. For Pißwasser the first ones date to mid-September and the last is from October 15; Patriot was approved in mid-September and again on October 15; No Mames Vice City on October 9.
