South Park airs unseen GTA 6 gameplay, supplied by Rockstar
Three weeks before release, new GTA 6 gameplay did not come from a trailer or the Newswire, but from South Park. In the episode that aired in the US on October 28, Guinea Pig on a Stick, a character switches on the TV and the screen plays a real sequence from the game: Jason on a crowded Vice City beach, a dog, its owner and a bag that becomes a weapon.
What it shows
The sequence lasts a few seconds and is built as a gag. On the packed beach an owner bags up after their dog. Jason picks a fight, then grabs the bag and smacks the man over the head with it. The woman watching the TV says the graphics are “next-level” and that in the game you can pick up dog poop and attack people with it.
Past the gag, people who went through the footage frame by frame stopped on other things: the crowd density on the beach, with bystanders of very different builds reacting to Jason, and the footprints left in the sand. The level of detail matches the official trailers.

A dog in sunglasses on the Vice City sand, inside South Park’s TV: the frame circulating online was filmed off a home screen, with the Comedy Central logo in the corner. Post by GTA 6 Countdown on X, news quotation.
A mechanic described in August, seen now
Using dog poop as a weapon is not a complete surprise. On August 28 YouTuber TGG, after a visit to Rockstar North, said you can pick up the bag of someone walking their dog and throw it at people.
Until October 28 it was a line from someone who had watched others play; now it is footage with Rockstar’s name in the credits.
Why South Park
The show has been poking fun at GTA 6 all season. In September the characters were convinced the game’s release would fix the country, then a blackout raised fears of not being able to save progress, and in mid-October a billboard for the game showed up in the election episode. The real footage is the payoff of the running joke.
Whether there is a commercial deal behind it is unknown: Rockstar has not commented, and at the time of writing the only official sign is the line in the credits. What is certain is that the studio chose to show something new about the game inside a cartoon, and a deliberately silly something, rather than in a trailer.

Frequently asked questions
Is the GTA 6 gameplay in South Park real?
Yes. The episode’s end credits attribute the footage to Rockstar Games, so it is material supplied by the studio, not a recreation.
Which South Park episode features GTA 6?
Guinea Pig on a Stick, which aired in the US on October 28, 2026. GTA 6 had been mentioned in other episodes this season, but this is the only one that shows the game.
Can you really throw dog poop in GTA 6?
Yes, the footage shows Jason using the bag as a weapon against a bystander. Whether it does damage or only triggers a reaction is still unknown: for how police respond to crimes, see the wanted level guide.
