GTA VI on the cover of LOVE: four new images of Jason and Lucia
After Game Informer, a fashion magazine. LOVE Magazine has given Grand Theft Auto VI one of the six covers of issue 27, on newsstands from October 5, 2026, and on October 2 it previewed the feature on its Instagram: four unseen images of Jason and Lucia and an interview with Rockstar’s narrative team. Three days after the twelve screenshots from Game Informer’s cover story, which were about the world, these are only about the two of them.

The four images
The image at the top is the closest to a game scene: Jason and Lucia sitting across from each other in a diner booth, mid-morning, coffee still steaming. It looks like any breakfast until you look at their hands: she checks a pistol under the table, he rests one on his leg.
The other three are staged like a photo shoot, and that is where the surprise is. Jason has long hair and Lucia her curls down, a look that appears in no trailer.
The pool table. Red lights, Jason in a “Steel Horse Motorcycles” tank top with a hand on the table, Lucia with an arm around his shoulders and the cue in her other hand.

The motorcycle. Lucia in red trousers and sunglasses, cigarette in her mouth and a travel bag in hand; Jason in a leather jacket, sitting on a motorcycle with a pistol in his fist.

The black and white. Jason in a vest on a folding chair, a bottle in hand, in front of a trailer; Lucia standing beside him in a leopard-print top.

They are all in the galleries of the Jason and Lucia wiki pages. The biker styling echoes the Game Informer shots of the chopper and the biker bar, but LOVE does not say whether those looks belong to a specific moment in the story.
What Rockstar’s writers say
The feature is built on interviews with Rockstar’s writers. Outlets that read the preview name writers Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern and Alexa D’Agostino and Rupert Humphries, Vice President of Narrative; other sources also mention Rob Nelson, co-studio head of Rockstar North. Until the issue is on newsstands, the exact list stays to be checked.
None of this changes what was known about the plot (the recap is in the guide on who Jason and Lucia are), and it fits the official profiles of the two characters. It does add a point of view: for the first time Rockstar talks about Jason and Lucia as a couple in a magazine that does not cover video games.

Frequently asked questions
When does the LOVE issue with GTA 6 come out?
LOVE Magazine issue 27 reaches newsstands on October 5, 2026. GTA VI is on one of the six covers.
Are the LOVE images gameplay screenshots?
They are official Rockstar material, but not all of them look like game captures. The diner scene looks like an in-game shot; the other three, including the black and white one, are composed like a photo shoot.
Why does Jason have long hair?
It has not been explained. In three of the four images Jason and Lucia look different from the trailers, but LOVE does not say whether it matches a moment in the story or is just a choice for the shoot.
