Diving
Underwater activity
Diving in GTA 6: divers among corals, turtles and eels in the official Keys screenshots, and the scuba gear seen in the Extended Look.
Documented activities
What you do in Leonida when you are not working for Brian: the activities Rockstar has shown, one page each, with what is known and what is missing.
Side activities have always been half the soul of a GTA, and Rockstar has already shown plenty for GTA 6. This page holds the ones backed by official proof: a screenshot from the character galleries, a scene from the Extended Look or a line from the site. Jason and Cal fishing from a boat, Lucia on the heavy bag at the gym, Cal on a mini golf course with fake alligators, pool tables in the bars, divers among the Keys corals, hunting in the swamps and trails inland. As of October 2026 none has had its full mechanics explained: each page separates what is shown from what is assumed.

The list drawn from Game Informer’s cover story, in VGC’s summary, is longer than these pages: base jumping, kayaking, street and off-road racing, zoos, airboats and jet skis. The August 27 Extended Look also shows a shooting range, a backyard wrestling match and a basketball shot. These are confirmed to exist, but with too little material for a page that says more than the name: they arrive as soon as Rockstar shows how they work.
Online activities are another matter. GTA 6 Online has not been presented, and what we will see there (businesses, co-op heists, events) has no official source yet. This section covers story mode: guides on how to earn and what is worth doing will fill the guides section at launch.
Rockstar has shown fishing, hunting, the gym, mini golf, pool, diving and hiking, and according to the Game Informer cover story list there are also base jumping, kayaking, racing, zoos, airboats and jet skis. The full picture comes with the game.
Yes. Lucia appears at the heavy bag in an official screenshot and on the bench press in the Extended Look, where according to Game Informer the barbell is lifted by squeezing both controller triggers.
Yes: an official screenshot shows Jason with a fishing rod on a boat next to Cal, and Rockstar’s site lists fishing among the things to do at Mount Kalaga. How it works has not been explained yet.
Not confirmed. Game Informer compares the Extended Look bench press to the weightlifting in GTA: San Andreas, where training changed physique and stats, but Rockstar has not described similar effects for GTA 6.
