The gym is the GTA 6 activity that already has half a documented mechanic. Rockstar has shown it twice, both times with Lucia Caminos.
The San Andreas comparison is no accident: in the 2004 game the gym changed CJ’s physique and stats. Whether training has similar effects in GTA 6 has not been said. According to IGN’s interview with Rockstar’s Rob Nelson, training as a pair would benefit both protagonists, but that detail needs checking at launch.
