The dolphin is one of the animals that bring Leonida’s waters to life in GTA 6. It appears in an official Ultimate Edition promotional screenshot: swimming at the surface next to a Shitzu Squalo, while two characters watch it from the stern of the boat.
It is a detail that speaks to the open sea off the Leonida Keys, a world of boats, diving and coastal life. Marine wildlife is part of the game’s tropical postcard just as much as the flamingos of the wetlands. On the Keys seabed Rockstar has since named more species in writing: coral, fish, an eel and a sea turtle.
Whether it is only scenery or reacts to the boat and the player has not been shown yet: launch and gameplay will confirm it. No mechanic is treated as certain without a source.
