Leonida Wiki

GTA 6 is set in Leonida, the fictional state inspired by Florida that has Vice City as its capital. From the official screenshots on Rockstar’s site and from the trailers, six areas have emerged, each with a sharp character and a specific real-world inspiration: the neon metropolis, the archipelago, the wetlands, the faded coast, the industrial inland and the mountain park. The entries below gather what is confirmed about each; on the interactive map you already find them traced, waiting for the real points of interest at launch.

The GTA 6 locations, area by area

The coast is ruled by two opposite faces: Vice City, the neon Miami that is the state’s criminal heart, and Port Gellhorn to the north-west, the rusted town inspired by the Florida panhandle. Toward the water you drop to the Leonida Keys, the bridge-linked archipelago modeled on the Florida Keys, and to the Grassrivers wetlands, Rockstar’s Everglades of airboats and alligators. Inland sits Ambrosia, an industrial sugar-cane town, and to the north the Mount Kalaga National Park, forests and rivers tipped to inherit the legacy of Mount Chiliad.

What is confirmed is the character and the existence of each area, not the exact geography yet. Rockstar has shown images and inspirations, but the precise borders, the map size and the points of interest have not been announced. That is why we keep what you can see apart from what is guessed, and no entry invents a detail to fill the gaps. With the release of GTA 6, on November 19, 2026, the map fills with real locations and every area takes its borders.
