Vice City
City, criminal capital
Leonida's criminal capital: beaches, art deco and neon in GTA 6's Miami. The dossier with real-world inspiration, trailer appearances and connected regions.
The Sahara Arena is Vice City’s sports arena: a dark shell crossed by lines of light, on the downtown waterfront between the Ferris wheel and the bay. It is GTA 6’s take on Miami’s Kaseya Center, home of the Miami Heat, and the resemblance is deliberate down to the shape of the roof.
The banner says a team called the Narcos plays inside, and the ball points to basketball, as with the Heat. In the same night view, bottom left, you can also read the sign of a Concert Hall, a concert venue in the same downtown block.
The link with the real arena has gone beyond the game: on the eve of release the Miami Heat play a game as “Vice City”, the night covered in our news on A Night in Vice City. More images of downtown are on the Vice City page and in the news on the 12 Game Informer screenshots.
