Vice City
City, criminal capital
Leonida's criminal capital: beaches, art deco and neon in GTA 6's Miami. The dossier with real-world inspiration, trailer appearances and connected regions.
Ocean Beach is Vice City’s beach district, and the first one Rockstar names when it presents the city. The official text for the area sums it up in one line: “the pastel art deco hotels and bright white sands of Ocean Beach”.
No official image has “Ocean Beach” written on it, so the photos on this page are Vice City beaches and art deco hotels that match the description, not places Rockstar has labelled. The closest is the night scene in front of the Ocean View Hotel sign, which also appears in the official pre-order pack image.
The name comes straight from the 2002 game, where Ocean Beach was the opening district, and the real-world model is the same: South Beach, with Ocean Drive and its hotels. The comparison between the two cities is in the guide Vice City 2002 vs Leonida, and the other districts with an official name are in Leonida’s geography.
