The Chamber 106.6

The Chamber 106.6 is GTA 6’s metal station, the only one of the six announced that carries its frequency in its name. The October 8, 2026 Newswire introduces it bluntly: crushing metal has landed in Leonida, and DJ Kerry and DJ Tom invite you to jump in the pit for classic metal “from the ’80s and beyond” as they channel the state’s “deep metal roots”.

The official artwork is the most over-the-top of the set, and not by accident: a red gothic logo and a studded skeleton playing guitar amid the flames.

Leonida’s “metal roots” have a real-world reference: Florida, and the Tampa area in particular, was the cradle of death metal in the late ’80s and ’90s. Rockstar does not name the scene, but the nod is hard to miss. It is also the station closest to V-Rock, the rock station of 2002’s Vice City. The other stations are in our news on GTA 6’s radio stations.
