GTA 6 has an album: 34 original songs, and six are out already

Rockstar has announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the game’s official music release: 34 original songs, out on November 19, 2026, the same day as GTA 6. This is not an announcement you have to wait on: six songs are already available on streaming services, and you can play them right now.

The six songs you can hear now

These went live on September 17, 2026, alongside the announcement:

Six names, six different worlds: Yung Lean’s Swedish rap, Travis Scott’s trap with Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo on production, Morgan Wallen’s country, Rauw Alejandro’s Puerto Rican reggaeton, Etienne de Crécy’s French house inside an ensemble track, and the Rolling Stones’ guitarist. Rockstar calls the roster “genre-defying”, and with these six as the calling card that is not an empty word: it says the album has no home genre, the same way a GTA radio dial has none.

That leaves 28 songs unannounced. Who else is on the full album is, for now, unknown.

Update, October 12, 2026: Rockstar’s music page has added two more singles, Suzuki by Fuerza Regida and Don’t Chart by Cardi B. The known songs rise to eight, and the unannounced ones drop to 26.

Where the six songs fall in the running order

There is a detail the announcement does not spell out, but which the album’s Spotify page shows on its own: all 34 slots in the running order are already exposed. Twenty-eight are placeholders with no title and no preview, listed as “Track 1”, “Track 3” and so on; the six released singles sit at fixed positions.

Five of the six sit in the first third of the record, the stretch a listener walks through anyway. Keith Richards is the exception, landing at 32 of 34, near the close: the slot a record gives to a song meant to stay with you at the end, not to filler. The same page carries the November 19, 2026 date, matching the announcement.

These positions are the ones exposed as verified on September 17, 2026, and they can still change before release. But the fact that the 34 slots already exist, numbered, says the running order is settled: what is missing is the announcements, not the songs.

Why 34 original songs is not the usual soundtrack
